Powder Coating Finishes

As standard, all of our gates and railings go through a seven-stage pre-treatment process prior to being powder-coated the desired color. This process dramatically increases corrosion resistance, meaning rust is much less likely. The process also enhances adhesion of the topcoats and surface finish.

Once the pre-treatment process is complete, two layers of powder coat are applied. The first layer is a zinc primer, used to further increase corrosion resistance for additional peace of mind. The second layer will depend on the customer’s needs. Galvanizing can also be done; however, this comes at an additional cost.
